For Dani Olmo, Friday night's match between RB Leipzig and VfB Stuttgart ended after the first-half whistle.

As RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose revealed at the post-match press conference, Olmo was taken off due to an injury, and the club have since confirmed that the Spaniard is expected to miss several weeks.

"Olmo felt his muscle in the first half and said he couldn't keep playing. That's why we had to substitute him," Rose said after his side's 2-1 win.

In their next game, RB Leipzig face Hoffenheim on Wednesday in the DFB-Pokal.
