Union updates: Isco reportedly set to sign, Everton offer for Becker to be considered

Spain's "El Partidazo de COPE" claims that Spanish midfielder Isco will sign for 1. FC Union Berlin on a short term basis.

German media outlets are currently affirming the Spanish report.

In other news pertinent to die Eisernen, tow Sky journalists claims that the FCU administrative team will entertain an offer from Everton for Sheraldo Becker tomorrow.
Sky Sports reports that RB Leipzig have dropped out of the race to acquire free-agent Spanish midfielder Isco. The 30-year-old's path to the other German club presumed to be his suitor is thus free.

Spain's "El Partidazo de COPE" claims that Isco will sign a short-term deal with the Bundesliga's second-placed club. Some German sources are now corroborating the information at this point. The Spanish source speaks of a contract valid through the end of the season with an option to extend.

Ronan Murphy and Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports also claims that Union are prepared to entertain an offer for attacker Sheraldo Becker from Liverpool's Everton F.C. tomorrow. The Köpenickers obviously do not wish to let such a crucial component of their squad go, but the player's own desire to make the leap to the Isle may also play a role.

Becker himself has recently denied any links with EPL side Nottingham Forest, but may still wish to play in the Premiership if given the opportunity. The scorer of eight goals and seven assists across all competitions for Union this season maintains an estimated market worth of €15 million in the latest transfermarkt listings.
