Confirmed: Hertha's Maolida loaned back out to France
Hertha BSC attacker Myziane Maolida's loan out to Stade Reims has been confirmed.
Myziane Maolida's loan out to Ligue 1 side Stade de Reims was confirmed late Tuesday. The 23-year-old has made 17 Bundesliga appearances for Hertha BSC since joining the capital city outfit in the autumn of 2021 for a reported €4 million. Overall, one of former sporting CEO Fredi Bobic's more expensive acquisitions scored two goals in 20 appearances for Hertha across all competitions.
No details about a potential purchase option were disclosed. As it stands, the little utilized winger (three appearances this year) will be due back in Berlin at the conclusion of the season. Maolida's current estimated market worth has fallen to €1.5 million amid his sparse usage under the four Hertha coaching regimes during his tenure in Germany.
