Schwarz prepared to roll with same system against Dortmund

Hertha BSC trainer Sandro Schwarz praised the work of his back-three and midfield flight-director Tolga Cigerci at his Friday presser, giving every indication that he would stick with the same system in the forthcoming league fixture against Dortmund.

After last Sunday's shock upset victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach, Hertha BSC trainer Sandro Schwarz appears prepared to roll with the same system this coming Sunday against heavy favorites Borussia Dortmund. Schwarz praised the work of a back-three consisting of Marton Dardai, Filip Uremovic, and Marc-Oliver Kempf.

"The back three harmonized very well in the last match," Schwarz told assembled members of the press corps at Friday press conference, "Logically, that's the top option for Sunday. The coaches decided upon this system and implemented it well."

Schwarz will also have the option of plugging in Uruguayan defender Agustin Rogel into the back-three if he so desires. The 25-year-old returned to team training on Thursday. One player who Schwarz will entertain no notions of switching out, obviously, is his new star midfielder Tolga Cigerci. The Hertha returnee drove the team forward against Gladbach, directly involving himself in two of the team's four goals.

"Tolga did very well against Mönchengladbach," Schwarz noted,  "He also makes a very good impression in training. He's a player with a very high sense of responsibility. It's an absolute win for us as a group to have someone like that."
