Choupo-Moting ruled out against Hoffenheim
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting continues to struggle with injury and will miss Bayern's clash with Hoffenheim.
Bayern Munich will once again be without Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting when they take on Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga tomorrow.
The Cameroon international, who has missed Bayern's last two games due to a knee problem, returned to training yesterday.
However, he was absent again this morning and is not fit to face Hoffenheim tomorrow, as confirmed by Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel.
"Choupo is out for the weekend," Tuchel confirmed at today's press conference.
In addition to Bayern's long-term absentees, Sadio Mané will also miss the game as he's suspended for his altercation with Leroy Sané in the dressing room after Tuesday's loss to Manchester City.
Mathys Tel will be back in the squad, but is not yet ready to play 90 minutes.
"It might be a bit early for him to start. He is definitely a candidate to play. He's ready to play 20-30 minutes," said Tuchel.
