Rose reveals three starters are questionable for Hoffenheim

n addition to missing starters Amadou Haidara and Dominik Szoboszlai to suspension, RB Leipzig trainer Marco Rose revealed that Benjamin Henrichs, Dani Olmo, and Josko Gvardiol were all questionable ahead of Saturday's league fixture against Hoffenheim.
RB Leipzig head-coach Marco Rose may be left without five of the players he started in last week's league defeat to Leverkusen this coming Wednesday. Dominik Szoboszlai (sent off on double yellows) and Amadou Haidara (yellow card accumulation) must already sit out. At a Thursday presser, Rose also revealed that Benjamin Henrichs, Dani Olmo, and Josko Gvardiol were all still struggling with injuries.

Henrichs has had to miss several training sessions with a muscle injury in his hip. Rose noted that he might be an option off the bench, but likely wasn't fit enough to start. Gvardiol has missed out on training with undisclosed muscular complaints while Olmo has knee issues. It seems likely that - with a DFB Pokal match coming up next week - Rose won't be prepared to chances it with the trio.

"We have a lot of guys who have minor injuries," Rose divulged at the presser, "but we must remain switched on if we're to get back into the Champions' League places."

Rose did have some good news to report in the form of a return to integrated training for midfielder Konrad Laimer. The Austrian had been dealing with heel issues. Laimer may be able to return in time to play a role in the weekend encounter.
