Official: Carvalho loaned to Leipzig for one year without purchase option
Portuguese international Fabio Carvalho's loan arrangement with RB Leipzig was made official on Friday afternoon.

In reporting on the deal, Germany's Kicker Magazine claims that Leipzig personnel boss Max Eberl wished to secure an extended loan (of two years) for Carvalho. Eberl nevertheless saw his efforts at securing both the two-year-loan and a purchase option rebuffed by former German footballing administrative colleague Jörg Schmadtke, now working in the Liverpool front office.
"Fabio Carvalho is an outstanding talent - as shown not least by his signing by Liverpool FC," Eberl noted in an RB-released statement "Fabio is fast, agile, tricky and creative. He looks for the finish himself or can perfectly set matters up for his teammates. He'll be given time to acclimate for his new club and in his new country."
"It's a big step for me as a young player to move from England to the Bundesliga and RB Leipzig," the youngster himself noted, "I'm coming to a team that is very strong in the game and has been very successful in recent years. I now want to help build on that and am really looking forward to this new challenge. My aspiration is to play as much as possible."
