Kicker Report: Gosens transfer to Union successfully sealed

Journalist Janis Klimburg of Germany's preeminent footballing publication now reports that Robin Gosens' transfer to 1. FC Union Berlin will be officially finalized today. 

The rumored transfer of German left-back Robin Gosens to Berlin's Köpenick club is now apparently preparing to become a reality. After initially downplaying a reported agreement between 1. FC Union Berlin and Inter Milan on Saturday, Germany's preeminent footballing publication now verifies that the 29-year-old will join Union for a transfer fee of €13 million plus add ons.

Italain transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports that Gosens is due in the German capital today and will be unveiled after a scheduled medical. The German national team defender will surely be available for die Eisernen ahead of their opening 2023/24 Bundesliga match against FSV Mainz 05 on Saturday.
