Kicker Report: Stuttgart and Hoffenheim reach breakthrough in Stiller negotiations

A transfer rumor that at first seemed to be a dead-end may now be actually be about to become a done-deal, according to Germany's preeminent footballing publication.
Early rumors linking TSG 1899 Hoffenheim midfielder Angelo Stiller with a return to his former head-coach Sebastian Hoeneß at first, at least according to Germany's Kicker Magazine seemed unlikely given the fee demands the TSG asked of VfB Stuttgart. Germany's preeminent footballing publication now reverses itself and claims the the clubs have come much closer.

Kicker notes that Stuttgart are willing to pay a transfer fee in the "upper-single-digit" range for the Germany U21 international. The 22-year-old maintains an estimated market worth of €5 million in the latest transfermarkt listings. The Kraichgauer were initially reported to be demanding upwards of €10 million. Kicker reports that a compromise with bonus included is in the offing.
