The endless discussion over FCB trainer Thomas Tuchel's desired "holding six" midfielder looks to continue right up until the transfer deadline next week. In an article published on the website of Germany's preeminent footballing publication this afternoon, German journalist Georg Holzner claims that the Bayern front-office are currently working in conjunction with Leicester City over a potential loan-out for Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.

The much-sought after 51-times-capped Nigerian international is expected to depart on a free this summer after his current contract expires. Leicester, in fact, cannot loan the 26-year-old out unless he extends his current working papers. Holzner writes that Bayern are interested in obtaining Ndidi under such circumstances and cites his own internal sources to claim that a move could be in the works.
