Borussia Dortmund vs. AC Milan preview: Team news and predicted lineups

Here is our preview of Wednesday's Champions League group stage clash between Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan, including predicted lineups.
Borussia Dortmund play their first European home game of the season when they host AC Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Dortmund coach Edin Terzic said he expects the game to be very different from his side's opening match in Europe's top club competition - a 2-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain two weeks ago.

"No game at this level will be easy. We imagined the game in Paris differently. Tomorrow is our first home game. With our boys and the fans in the stadium, we want to get our first win tomorrow," said Terzic.

"It will be a completely different game than in Paris. We want to be more courageous in our work against the ball. Milan's approach is different. But we've done a lot of good things in the last few games, which will be important tomorrow."

Sitting alongside Terzic was Niclas Füllkrug, who has high hopes for his first Champions League game on home soil.

"At the moment we have the mental strength, the will to win. We've shown that again and again recently. That's what we want to build on tomorrow," said Füllkrug, who is in line to start up front after scoring his first Dortmund goal in Friday's 3-1 win over Hoffenheim.

Terzic confirmed that he has no injury concerns compared to the win over Hoffenheim, but he could make a few changes, with Niklas Süle and Emre Can in particular pushing for a starting berth. Marcel Sabitzer remains on the sidelines.

AC Milan, who are on a three-game winning streak in Serie A, will be without Pierre Kalulu, Rade Krunić and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
