RB Leipzig have won the DFB-Pokal in two consecutive seasons, but they won't be making it three in a row.

That's the conclusion after Marco Rose's side lost 1-0 to Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen Arena on Tuesday night, crashing out of the competition in the second round.

Vaclav Cerny scored the winner for Wolfsburg 14 minutes into the game, which saw Leipzig reduced to 10 men when Yussuf Poulsen received his second yellow card in the 56th minute.

Elsewhere in early DFB-Pokal action this evening, Union Berlin suffered their 11th straight defeat, this time 1-0 to VfB Stuttgart.

Regionalliga Südwest side FC Homburg came from behind to beat 2. Bundesliga outfit Greuther Fürth 2-1, while St. Pauli and Schalke 04 have headed into extra time after being level at 1-1 after 90 minutes.
