Crvena Zvezda vs. RB Leipzig preview: Team news and predicted lineups

Here is our preview of Tuesday's Champions League group stage clash between Crvena Zvezda and RB Leipzig, including predicted lineups.
After disappointing losses to Wolfsburg and Mainz, RB Leipzig will look to get back on track when they travel to Serbia to take on Crvena Zvezda on Tuesday night.

"We are all unhappy with the last two results, but thanks to the quick turnaround we now have the chance to get back on track. We want to make the most of this opportunity tomorrow," said RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose at his pre-match press conference.

Leipzig beat Crvena Zvezda 3-1 in the first meeting between the two sides at the Red Bull Arena, but David Raum is aware that the Serbian champions will be spurred on by their home fans.

"This is a unique stadium. Coming out through the tunnel and onto the pitch is really impressive. We've heard a lot about it and the fans and we're looking forward to tomorrow," said the Leipzig defender, sitting next to Rose.

A win on Tuesday would certainly put Leipzig in a good position to qualify for the next round, as Marco Rose's men currently sit second behind Manchester City with 6 points, five more than Young Boys and Crvena Zvezda.

"We want to get to the next round. We know the atmosphere and the Crvena Zvezda team will be different from our home game. We are capable of winning tomorrow if we fight hard," Raum said.

In addition to their long-term absentees, Die Roten Bullen will be without Timo Werner due to an infection, while Yussuf Poulsen is a doubt after having to pull out of training on Monday due to an adductor problem.
