Qarabag vs. Bayer Leverkusen preview: Team news and predicted lineups

Here is our preview of Thursday's Europa League group stage clash between Qarabag and Bayer Leverkusen, including predicted lineups.
After a 3-2 win over Hoffenheim at the weekend, Xabi Alonso's high-flying Bayer Leverkusen travel to Azerbaijan on Thursday evening to take on Qarabag in the Europa League.

Top of the Bundesliga and Group H of the Europa League, Die Werkself have been in scintillating form this season, winning every game they have played apart from a 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich.

Qarabag, fresh from a spirited 7-1 win over Kapaz, will be hoping for a tighter encounter than their 5-1 defeat at the BayArena, in which Florian Wirtz shone.

Xabi Alonso is expected to rotate his team as he's done previously in Europe this season, with Matej Kovar, Josip Stanisic, Piero Hincapie, Robert Andrich, Nathan Tella and Amine Adli among those who could start.

Edmond Tapsoba has been ruled out with a hand injury for Die Werkself, who will also still be without Patrik Schick.
