Harry Kane took his goal tally to 21 in just 16 games for Bayern Munich on Saturday, finding the net twice in a 4-2 win over Heidenheim.

And, as has been the case so often this season, Leroy Sané provided excellent service, this time setting up both the England international's goals.

"I love playing with Leroy. We have a very good connection - on and off the pitch. He's a fantastic player and a fantastic guy," Kane told Sport1.

"He's probably our best player of the season so far and incredibly important for us," he also said, according to Sky Germany.

The praise also went in the other direction, with Sané telling Sky Germany:

"I really enjoy playing with him. He's very intelligent and knows how to move. We don't need to talk about his finishing. He's good for all of us, including me".
