Bayern reign supreme against Stuttgart as Kane leads the charge

A brace from Harry Kane and a Kim Min-Jae header was enough to give Thomas Tuchel's Bayern a 3-0 win over Stuttgart.

A doubt coming into the weekend with illness, all doubt would be eliminated inside 90 seconds when Harry Kane chipped in for 1-0. Sané pounced on some slack play from Stuttgart and squared for the English star. Kim Min-Jae appeared to nod in Bayern's second of the evening from a corner but VAR said otherwise.

Approaching the half hour mark it was Sané who went closer again. This time Nübel's spectacular reactions bailed Stuttgart out. For a second time, Die Rekordmeister hit the net and on this occasion through Müller. However, just like the Kim incudent, video referee officials chalked the goal off as Muller took up an offside position. Bayern fans in the Allianz Arena cut frustrated figures at the break.

Kane would double his tally for the night in the 56th minute when he headed past Nübel. Youngster Pavlovic delivered the set-piece which was won by Kim who flicked back across goal to the talismanic striker. A routine finish for his 20th goal of the campaign.

For all of Stuttgart's battling, they failed to ever really lay a glove on the Bavarian giants. The result was put to bed not long after the hour mark. Kim finally rewarded for his patience and aerial prowess as he guided home front yet another pin-point Pavlovic delivery. The marginal deflection off Rouault left Nübel with no chance. The only blot on the page being Davies withdrawal through a possible injury late on.
