Hoffenheim and Darmstadt share the spoils in six-goal thriller

Hoffenheim managed to restore their advantage almost instantaneously when Bebou raced through on goal collecting Prömel's pass. The Togolese striker rounded Schuhen to re-establish a 2-1 lead before the break.
Die Lilien responded for a second time in the 57th minute when Tim Skarke rattled the net from 15 metres out. Once again Luca Pfeiffer found himself involved, providing the assist. But Hoffenheim would continue the game's seesaw pattern - Bebou secured his brace and thrusted TSG back into a favourable 3-2 scoreline.
The ever-determined Darmstadt again rose to the challenge and miraculously found a third equaliser. Ozan Kabak's crucial mistake pounced upon, and Tim Skarke punished to secure a brace of his own. A result that pays homage to Torsten Lieberknecht's never-say-die side.
