English youth international Japhet Tanganga is headed back to the Isle having not logged a single minute of Bundesliga action. The 24-year-old's season-long loan arrangement was prematurely canceled on Thursday. Knee problems kept the Spurs defender out of action for the first seven match-days of the current Bundesliga campaign. He made Jess Thorup's bench-squad one time on match-day ten against Köln, yet remained unused.

Tanganga's early departure had been rumored for some time. The latest news on another FCA summer acquisition in central defense - former SV Darmstadt 98 center back Patric Pfeiffer - takes a different tack. Despite being linked with a move away from the Fuggerstädter, it looks to be the case that Pfeiffer (as reported by Germany's Kicker Magazine) wishes to stay and compete for a starting place.
