Official: Jurasek joins Hoffenheim
23-year-old Czech left-back David Jurasek has completed a loan move to Hoffenheim.
TSG Hoffenheim have confirmed the signing of David Jurasek on loan from Benfica.
The 23-year-old Czech left-back joins the Bundesliga outfit on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.
"David is an extremely dynamic fullback who we were interested in during the summer. However, it was not possible to sign him at that time. He is quick, strong in attack and can be deployed on the left side in a variety of formations," said Hoffenheim managing director Alexander Rosen.
Hoffenheim's head of professional football, Pirmin Schwegler, added:
"David is a fierce and strong-willed player, whose qualities will significantly increase the competition within our squad.
"He hits dangerous crosses that are difficult to defend and, although he is only 23 years old, he already impresses with his enormous presence on the pitch. With his character and athletic ability, he will definitely be an asset to our team."
