Tuchel laments lack of luck after Bayern's shock defeat to Bochum

Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel doesn't think Sunday's defeat against Bochum was fair.
Bayern Munich's poor run of form continued on Sunday night, with a 3-2 defeat to Bochum extending their losing streak to three games.

After the game, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel made it clear that he felt his side were unlucky not to have won the game.

"I don't think today's loss was fair, I think a lot of things went against us today. I think we had an xG of 3.4 and we had four, five, six great chances. We completely dominated the game and actually went behind out of nowhere,," Tuchel told DAZN in a post-match interview.

"We never stopped trying until the end and played a man down for a long time. A lot of things went against us today. Today's defeat feels differently than the last two."

Asked about the pressure on him and his team, Tuchel replied:

"That is what happens after every defeat. The 'how' is crucial, and the 'how' was okay today. That's why today's 90 minutes were different from the second half against Lazio or the game against Leverkusen. Today was a bit like Murphy's Law. Everything that could go wrong went wrong today."

The Bayern coach went on to say that he still believes he and his coaching staff can turn things around.

"If you ask me, yes," he insisted.
