When VfB Stuttgart held their final training session ahead of Saturday's home game against FC Köln, the focus was on Fabian Bredlow, Maximilian Mittelstädt and Waldemar Anton, who were all listed as doubtful by head coach Sebastian Hoeness on Thursday.

Bild now provides an update on the trio, stating that Fabian Bredlow and Waldemar Anton are set to start after taking part in the full training session, with the former ready to fill in for the injured Alex Nübel once more.

Mittelstädt, however, is still not fully fit and is unlikely to start on Saturday due to adductor problems.

This means that Hiroki Ito is expected to start at left-back, with Anthony Roualt in line to start alongside Anton in the center.
