Terzic's future as Dortmund coach increasingly questioned

Borussia Dortmund's 3-2 defeat to Hoffenheim has led to questions being asked about Edin Terzic's future as the club's head coach.
Ruhr Nachrichten and Sky Germany report that Edin Terzic's future as Borussia Dortmund coach is under increasing scrutiny after Sunday's disappointing 3-2 home defeat to Hoffenheim.

So far, BVB CEO Hans Joachim Watzke has always stood behind Terzic, but his confidence in the Dortmund coach seems to be waning.

According to Sky Germany, Terzic is "shaky" and "under close observation", with the club's goal of reaching the Champions League "above all else".

A quick dismissal is not expected, but if the upcoming games against Union Berlin and Werder Bremen also end in disappointment, Terzic is likely to be sacked, per Ruhr Nachrichten.

Should that happen, Nuri Sahin and Sven Bender, who were hired as assistant coaches in the winter, could be his replacements, the local publication speculates.
