Gregor Kobel is closing in on his comeback from injury for Borussia Dortmund.

A late decision will be made on whether Kobel will start against Werder Bremen on Saturday, with BVB coach Edin Terzic confident that he will be able to make his return.

"Kobel has been training individually all week and will start training with the team today," Terzić said at a press conference on Thursday.

"Then we'll decide if he'll be ready for Saturday. But we're very confident."

Above all, it's a question of how Kobel himself feels.

"Fortunately, Gregor's absence wasn't extremely long, but we'll be careful with him. He'll only be in goal if he feels 100 percent ready," said Terzic.

Kobel has missed Dortmund's last three games due to injury.
