Borussia Dortmund vs Eintracht Frankfurt preview: Two sides looking to play in Europe's top competition next season

Borussia Dortmund host Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday at the Signal Iduna Park with the hope of sustaining their hunt for a Champions League spot. Eintracht Frankfurt, however, want to continue their lead in the race for the Europa League.

Borussia Dortmund

Last weekend, Borussia Dortmund grinded out a 2-1 victory over Werder Bremen despite not playing the best.

With ten men for over half the game, Dortmund had to dig deep to get the three points. After the game, Edin Terzić said: "We knew that we had to defend our goal well and be very hardworking."

Borussia Dortmund have relied heavily on Niclas Füllkrug this season as the former Werder Bremen striker has netted eleven goals this season.

Joining the German striker in his efficiency in-front of goal, Donyell Malen has scored four in his last five games in the Bundesliga.

Finally, Borussia Dortmund will be wary of their last result against Dino Toppmöller's side as they were only able to draw 3-3 in their last outing against this Frankfurt side.
