Multiple reports: Bochum sack Letsch

According to multiple reports, VfL Bochum have decided to part ways with head coach Thomas Letsch.
Thomas Letsch's time as coach of VfL Bochum has come to an end, reports claim.

According to Bild and Sportschau, the relegation-threatened Bundesliga club have decided to part ways with the 55-year-old.

Bochum have endured a poor run of form recently, failing to win their last six Bundesliga games and losing five of them.

They've taken just one point from their last three matches against relegation rivals Mainz, Darmstadt and FC Köln. Most recently, they lost 2-1 to FC Köln after conceding two goals in stoppage time.

Letsch took over as Bochum coach in September 0222. In November, he extended his contract until 2026.

Stefan Kuntz and Urs Fischer have been touted as possible replacements for Letsch.
