Eintracht Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter has hailed Timothy Chandler for the impact he has made in recent months.

After spending most of last season on the sidelines with a serious knee injury, the 29-year-old has emerged as a first-team regular through the 2019/20 campaign.

"He has fought his way back after a serious injury and is undergoing great development. I'm happy for him. Just like Marco Russ and Kevin Trapp, he's very important for the dressing room, because he has it in the palm of his hand," Hütter told Bild and added:

"He's a great guy! He sometimes seems like a little kid, because he loves to have fun and entertain people. But he knows exactly when to be professional."

Chandler has scored in two out of Frankfurt's three games in 2020 so far.
