Nearly eight months after Krzysztof Piatek's arrival from AC Milan, Hertha BSC are still trying to figure out how to get the most out of the Polish striker.

So far, Piatek has scored five goals in 16 games for Hertha, who are convinced that there is a lot more to come from the 25-year-old.

"He has to become more present and effective," Hertha coach Bruno Labbadia said in an interview with Kicker.

"Krzysztof works extremely hard, but his abilities need to come into play more. We have to think about how we can get him into the right positions, and how we need to play to make sure he gets more involved," he continued.

Hertha BSC managing director Michael Preetz believes the 25-year-old has made 'a really good impression' during pre-season.

"He's getting more and more integrated and is on the right path to playing a significant role for us," said Preetz.
