Report: Aston Villa preparing €18 million offer for Milot Rashica
Aston Villa are poised to table a bid for Werder Bremen's Milot Rashica.
Aston Villa are preparing an €18 million offer for Werder Bremen star Milot Rashica, according to Bild.
Bremen-based media outlet Deichstube claimed earlier this week that Aston Villa are willing to meet Werder's valuation for the Kosovo international.
But their opening bid for Rashica is considerably lower than Werder's €25 million asking price, as per Bild, who adds that the parties are yet to discuss potential bonus payments and whether to include a sell-on clause in the deal.
The report also states that England looks like the most probable destination for Rashica, who was also linked with Leeds United and Napoli by Deichstube.
Initially, it looked like the 24-year-old would be heading to RB Leipzig, but 'Die Roten Bullen' have struggled to reach an agreement with Werder.
