Bayern boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirms agreement with Liverpool for Thiago

Bayern München have reached an agreement with Liverpool for Thiago Alcantara, confirms club boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

Bayern München have agreed a deal to sell Thiago Alcantara to Liverpool for a reported fee of around €30 million.

FC Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed reports that the two clubs have agreed a transfer fee, telling Bild:

"I can confirm that FC Bayern have reached a final agreement with Liverpool FC. It was Thiago's great desire to do something new at the end of his career."

The Spanish midfielder is expected to put pen to paper on a four-year deal with the English champions.

Thiago, who has one year left on his deal with Bayern, has spent seven seasons at Allianz Arena, making 235 appearances with 31 goals and 37 assists to his name.
