Giovanni Reyna and Erling Haaland were on target as Borussia Dortmund opened their Bundesliga campaign with a 3-0 win over Gladbach in front of the 9,300 Dortmund fans that were allowed in at the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday.

17-year-old Reyna scored his first Bundesliga goal 35 minutes into the game, smashing the ball into the far corner after being teed up by Jude Bellingham, also 17, who made his Bundesliga debut.

Haaland added to the lead from the penalty spot in the beginning of the second half after Reyna was brought down by Ramy Bensebaini in the box.

And with 77 minutes on the clock, Haaland scored for the second time, clipping the ball over Yann Sommer to make it 3-0 after receiving a perfect pass from Jadon Sancho.
