Bayern München are looking into the possibility of bringing Atlético Madrid's Thomas Lemar to Allianz Arena, according to Sport Bild.

Bayern have already brought in Alexander Nübel, Tanguy Nianzou Kouassi and Leroy Sané this summer. But with Philippe Coutinho, Ivan Perisic and Thiago Alcantara having already left and Michael Cuisance and Javi Martinez looking likely to depart the club as well, the Bavarians hope to add further numbers to their squad before the transfer window closes on October 5.

"We leave many options open, are in constant talks with the coaching team and look at what's possible," Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic.

Apparently, one of these options is Lemar. Bayern are understood to be interested in a loan deal for the 24-year-old, who has struggled to live up to the expectations at Atlético after his €70 million switch from AS Monaco in 2018.

However, while Atlético are willing to listen to offers for Lemar, they would prefer to sell him, as per Sport Bild.

The French winger has made a total of 73 appearances for Atlético with three goals and six assists to his name.
