Hoffenheim are understood to have joined the race for Tottenham youngster Ryan Sessegnon, who is also being linked with Hertha BSC.

According to Sky Germany, the two Bundesliga clubs are keen on taking the 20-year-old on loan.

They could face hefty competition, though, with Brighton, Southampton, Leeds United and Ajax thought to be interested as well.

Sessegnon, who can play as a left-back and on the left wing, was signed from Fulham for €27 million last summer.

He made 12 appearances in his first season for Tottenham and is yet to feature in the 2020/21 campaign.
