Official: Stuttgart get young talent Naouirou Ahamada over the line
A one-time Baden-Württemberg powerhouse secured some additional assistance just as the transfer window slammed shut.
Stuttgart sporting director Sven Mislintat, in confirming the deal, called Ahamada "one of the top emerging French talents." Referring to the players year-of-birth, Mislintat jokingly called him "one of the best 2002 vintages."
Ahamada joins die Schwaben on a year-long-loan with a buyout option after the season. He is regarded as a flexible midfielder with skills on both sides of the ball. The youngster has scored a combined three times for France's U16 and U18 national squads.
Stuttgart's new acquisition already acquires the no. 32 jersey, suggesting that the Badeners plan to insert him into the starting XI soon.
"We are convinced that he maintains the footballing quality and mentality to take the next steps in his development and quickly become a member of our professional squad," Mislintat concluded.
