Report: Gladbach turned down a €50 million offer from Inter for Matthias Ginter in the summer

Gladbach centre-back Matthias Ginter has reacted to a report that Inter wanted to sign him for around €50 million in the summer.
During the summer, Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter was the subject of interest from Inter, who 'Die Fohlen' face in their opening game of the Champions League on Wednesday.

According to Bild, Inter were willing to pay nearly €50 million for the German international, but Gladbach rejected the offer.

"I noticed the interest, but didn't waste a thought on a possible transfer to Inter, because I still have big goals with Gladbach," Ginter told Bild.

Ginter's contract with Gladbach expires in 2022.
