Joshua Kimmich set for long spell on the sidelines due to knee injury

Joshua Kimmich is expected to be out for a while due to the knee injury he sustained in Bayern München's 3-2 win over Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.

Bayern München are expected to be without Joshua Kimmich for a while after the German international sustained a knee injury in Saturday's 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund.

Kimmich was forced off towards the end of the first half after landing awkwardly on his knee after making a challenge on Erling Haaland.

According to reports, the German international is suspected to have suffered a meniscus tear.

DAZN is reporting on Sunday that the German international could be out for up to three months.

Meanwhile, a Kicker report claims that Kimmich will be sidelined for several weeks at least.
