Haaland double helps Dortmund to win over Club Brugge

Erling Haaland continued his red-hot form in front of goal with two goals in Borussia Dortmund's 3-0 victory over Club Brugge on Tuesday.

Erling Haaland found the net for the seventh game in a row as his brace helped Borussia Dortmund to a 3-0 victory over Club Brugge at Signal Iduna Park in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The highly-rated 20-year-old striker, who netted four times in Dortmund's 5-2 win over Hertha BSC on Saturday, broke the deadlock against Brugge in the 18th minute, latching on to a pass from Jadon Sancho before smashing the ball into the far corner with his left foot.

Sancho got on the scoresheet himself shortly before the break, capping off a phenomenal first-half performance with a wonderful free-kick goal.

With an hour played, Haaland added to the lead with his second goal of the evening after he was gifted the ball inside the area.

Dortmund's win means Lucien Favre's troops hold on to their top spot in Group F, one point clear of Lazio, who beat Zenit 3-1 in Italy.

Elsewhere, Julian Nagelsmann's RB Leipzig side missed the chance to stay ahead of Paris Saint-Germain in Group H as they were beaten 1-0 in Paris by last season's finalists.
