Bayern München were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw away against Union Berlin at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei on Saturday.

Grischa Prömel sent Union ahead, nodding in a corner with just four minutes played of the first half, which saw the home side create the biggest chances.

Midway through the second half, Bayern finally found the equaliser as Robert Lewandowski put the ball into the back of the net after being set up excellently by Kingsley Coman.

Second-half substitute Leroy Sané nearly won the game for Bayern in the 90th minute, but Andreas Luthe kept out his header with an excellent save.

The draw means that first-placed Bayern are level on points with RB Leipzig at the top of the table while Union sit sixth.
