Report: Lack of interest in Rashica makes January sale unlikely
Germany's SportBild reports that interest in SV Werder Bremen attacker Milot Rashica has dwindled significantly.
While a January transfer for the 24-year-old Kosovar certainly cannot be ruled out, a more likely scenario sees the club holding onto him for the duration of the season to potentially cash-in next summer.

Garnering only one assist in limited action, the 24-year-old has seen his market value plummet from €28 million over the summer to €18 million in the latest Transfermarkt.de listing. Simply stated, the winger no longer counts as a hot commodity as the January transfer window prepares to open.
Leverkusen have long disavowed their interest and it remains unlikely that any cash-strapped Bundesliga club will wish to spend anywhere close to Rashica's purported worth for a player expected to be sidelined well into January.
Germany's "Bild-Zeitung" reports that virtually no clubs, be they domestic or international, have any interest in the player. Robin Meise of German website ligainsider.de points out that Rashica's current contract with the Hanseaten runs through 2022.
From a business perspective, it thus makes little to sense for the north German club to shop their disaffected attacker during this window. If Rashica can get back onto the pitch and begin producing again, his value will shoot back up between now and June. It would count as foolish for the club to part with such projected equity at this time.
