Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed the signing of Christopher Lenz from Union Berlin.

The 26-year-old left-back will be making the move to Frankfurt on a free transfer at the end of the season, at which point his contract with Union Berlin expires.

"I see Eintracht as the next step in my development and am really looking forward to my time in Frankfurt," said Lenz, who has put pen to paper on a contract until 2024 with 'Die Adler'.

"I was able to play in front of a great crowd at the Alte Försterei. If you've seen Eintracht's games in the Europa League, you know how emotional it gets here. The atmosphere and the fans are among the best in the world," he continued.

Lenz has made a total of 63 appearances for Union Berlin with one goal and eight assists to his name.
