The youngster who scored against FC Bayern München this past November in the Champions' League will likely get another shot at doing so in the Bundesliga. Twenty-four-year-old winger Masaya Okugawa, who already spent some time playing in the Bundesrepublik on loan at Holstein Kiel, is now headed to Nordrhein-westfallen.

Arminia coach Uwe Neuhaus and sporting director Samir Arabi confirmed that they had specifically targeted Okugawa as a complement to Ritsu Doan and were also thrilled to have negotiated a purchase option. Neuhaus called the youngster "very similar to Doan in terms of the type of player he is."

Okugawa's production numbers have been consistently impressive at Salzburg and his loan stints at Liefering, Kiel, and Mattersburg. In other transfer news concerning Bielefeld, Germany's Bild-Zeitung now reports that the loan deal to bring in Dutch attacker Michel Vlap is over the line. The second attack-bolstering addition should be officially introduced today.
