Due to knee problems, Benjamin Henrichs has made just seven Bundesliga appearances for RB Leipzig since joining the club from Monaco on a one-year loan deal last summer.

Nevertheless, Leipzig are leaning towards turning Benjamin Henrichs' loan deal into a permanent one, according to Bild, who claims the 23-year-old right-back is looking 'increasingly likely' to stay.

Speaking in the wake of Leipzig's 1-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen last week, Henrichs said that he is 'extremely happy in Leipzig'.

'Die Roten Bullen' have an option to sign the player on a permanent deal.
