Report: 17-year-old Luca Netz rejects interest from Bayern to sign new Hertha deal
Luca Netz has reportedly opted to stay at Hertha BSC rather than sign for Bayern.
Hertha BSC youngster Luca Netz has turned down interest from Bayern München to stay at the German capital club, according to Kicker.
The 17-year-old left-back, who is currently on a youth contract that expires this summer, is set to sign a new deal until 2023 when he turns 18 years old on May 15, as per the report.
Netz has emerged as a part of Hertha's first team this season, making seven appearances for the senior side so far.
Speaking after scoring the equaliser in Hertha's 1-1 draw with Stuttgart on Saturday, the youngster said he "wants to become a regular starter, maybe already this season."
