Sebastian Kehl has been lined up to replace Michael Zorc as Borussia Dortmund sporting director in 2022, according to Kicker.

The German football magazine claims that everything has been agreed, with only the 41-year-old's signature and an official announcement remaining.

Zorc is set to retire when his contract expires in 2022, having spent more than 20 years as BVB's sporting director.

Kehl featured 362 times for Dortmund as a player and has been working as the club's head of first team football since 2018.
