Florian Wirtz tested positive for coronavirus

Bayer Leverkusen starlet Florian Wirtz is expected to be out for a few weeks after testing positive for coronavirus.
Bayer Leverkusen have been rocked by the news that Florian Wirtz has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Bundesliga outfit have announced that the 17-year-old is in domestic quarantine after returning a positive test yesterday. All other tests were negative.

Wirtz has played a key role for Leverkusen this season, scoring seven goals and making seven assists in 29 games this season.

Leverkusen have struggled recently, having won just one of their last nine games in all competitions.
