Report: Fredi Bobic agrees deal in principle with Hertha BSC

Fredi Bobic has reportedly agreed a deal in principle to become the new Hertha BSC sporting managing director.
Earlier this month, Fredi Bobic confirmed that he will be leaving his position as Eintracht Frankfurt board member this summer.

According to Sport Bild, he has now agreed a deal in principle to become the new Hertha BSC sporting managing director, succeeding Michael Preetz, who was dismissed in January.

Bobic and Hertha are understood to have agreed a four-year contract that will see him make €3.2 million per year – more than any other manager in German football and twice as much as he's currently paid at Frankfurt.

The 49-year-old took over his current job at Eintracht in 2016.
