Official: Dortmund sign Soumaïla Coulibaly from PSG reserves

Borussia Dortmund made the signing of Soumaïla Coulibaly official on their club website on Thursday.
A little over two weeks after multiple French and German news sources reported that the BVB were in talks to snag a promising youngster from the PSG youth ranks, the German Bundesliga club officially announced that 17-year-old had committed to Dortmund.

The teenage defender is said evoke shades of Dan-Axel Zagadou, another phenom the Schwarzgelben once plucked from the Parisian reserves. On its website, Dortmund called him "one of the most talented young players in the Paris St. Germain youth system."

The player himself issued a statement in the release, saying that he "knew straight away that the BVB was the right club for me" and that he "couldn't wait to get started at my new club.". Coulibaly must first recover from an ACL tear before beginning his journey with the Dortmund reserves next year.
