Lewandowski set to miss four weeks due to knee injury
Bayern München expect to be without Robert Lewandowski for four weeks after the striker sustained a knee injury.
Robert Lewandowski has been ruled out for around four weeks with a knee injury.
Bayern München have confirmed that the 32-year-old strained a ligament in his right knee during Poland's 3-0 win over Andorra on Sunday.
The Polish Football Association initially stated that Lewandowski was expected to be out for 5-10 days, but it now turns out he will be sidelined significantly longer.
Due to the injury, Lewandowski will miss Bayern's Bundesliga top-of-the-table clash with RB Leipzig this Saturday as well as both Champions League quarter-final ties with Paris Saint-Germain.
Lewandowski has been in excellent form this season, finding the net 42 times in 36 appearances for FC Bayern.
