Adi Hütter has reiterated his intention to stay on as Eintracht Frankfurt coach despite speculation that he could join Gladbach.

Both Kicker and Bild claims Hütter has been lined up as a possible successor for Dortmund-bound Marco Rose at Borussia-Park.

Hütter, however, has previously emphasized that he will be staying at Frankfurt, and speaking at a press conference on Thursday, the 51-year-old insisted nothing has changed in this regard.

"I can confirm that I stand by what I said in the past," Hütter told reporters.

"I don't feel like constantly commenting on speculation and rumors. The most important thing for me is that we focus 100 percent on the difficult tasks ahead of us."

The former Young Boys coach has a reported €7.5 million release clause in his contract, which runs until 2023.
