Michael Zorc criticizes Dortmund's recent performances

Michael Zorc doesn't mince his words on Dortmund's current form.
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has criticized the club's recent performances after Saturday's 1-2 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.

"We could have made an important step towards qualifying for the Champions League. We messed that up because we weren't good enough," Zorc told WAZ and added:

"If we don't deliver the performances that we expect, that the players expect of themselves and that you have to expect in a game like this, it's disappointing.

"The performances we are currently putting in do not give you the feeling that we will win every game until the end of the season.

"The performances of most of our players are clearly below our own standards and our demands. Too little is being done."

Dortmund sit fifth, seven points behind fourth-placed Frankfurt with seven games left to play this season.
