Angelino returns to parts of team training, Halstenberg expected back Wednesday
Star left-wingback Angelino returned to limited Leipzig team training on Tuesday. Club teammate Marcel Halstenberg is expected to do so tomorrow.
While the German fullback can probably hope for a starting spot on Saturday, the squad's next match likely comes to soon for the Spaniard after a six-week layoff.
One of the most integral actors in Julian Nagelsmann's side has not featured since what was later revealed to be a torn muscle fiber caused him to be a late scratch against Gladbach in the 23rd round of the 2020/21 German Bundesliga. Angelino, who at the time famously protested his withdrawal, has been dealing with a serious muscle tear that has kept him sidelined since late February.

Angelino participated in limited parts of team training on Tuesday. Marcel Halstenberg, who's ill-fated game of backgammon with Jonas Hofmann on national team duty last week forced him into precautionary quarantine, is expected to make a full return to team training on Wednesday.
The team took matters a bit more cautious with Yussuf Poulen following his struggles with muscle strains over the weekend. While X-rays revealed no structural damage, the Danish striker trained individually.
